Like many other residential and commercial properties here in Nicoisa, we were concerned about annoying white marks on the taps and elsewhere in our toilets.
Beyond aesthetics, our research confirmed that this residue could also cause damage to our solar water heating system, water pumps, water pipes, jet wash machine and even our kettles and coffee machines.
We researched to determine the best solution to the problem we were facing and identified the best people to solve it!.
This led us directly to Karma Water in Nicosia, who were professional, easy to deal with, and honest!
We love that they confirmed without hesitation that no water softener could completely solve our problem, but that a good water softener would make a significant difference, which turned out to be true!
It’s also worth mentioning that the installation was efficient and professional, and that our water softener works remarkably well, substantially reducing the white marks on our bathroom taps and sinks.
Another notable indication of Karma Water’s professionalism is that they did not try to sell us the most expensive unit; instead, they recommended the right unit based on our needs and budget.
During the installation, the engineer was also polite and tidy, and he tested the quality of our water using test tube kits before and after the installation to verify his work. This means that we could also see the difference immediately.
The installation engineer also explained that the white chalky marks were caused by calcium and magnesium carbonate, which the water softener they had supplied would remove. The engineer also confirmed that marks would not stop immediately, but rather reduce over time. Once again, this proved to be correct.
Please note that our water softener requires the addition of salt tablets every week, and Karma carries all the necessary supplies. They also deliver directly to your door.
We can also personally attest that we have not experienced any serious issues with our water softener, which has been operating continuously since 2021.
