When we say “best”, that means good and high-quality companies, people and places that are trustworthy and fully committed to providing excellent products and customer service.
This forms part of our unwavering commitment to becoming one of Cyprus’s most trusted websites and sources of useful information.
We are always adding new shares and aim to share around 500 companies, people and places in each region by the end of 2024.
Considering we will triple-check everything, that’s a lot of work, and we’ll do it one share at a time!
sharecyprus.com was first registered in 2015 but lay dormant for many years because we were waiting for the right time to launch.
During the first few months of 2023, there was an explosion in the use of Artificial intelligence (AI). This prompted us to finally launch sharecyprus.com, with a commitment that real humans will always visit and verify the companies, people and places we share.
That’s not to say we are against AI (or won’t be using it to help improve our website), but we will not ask AI software to write our stories or reviews!
We are not digital nomads or working remotely. The Share Cyprus team are located permanently here in Cyprus.
We prioritise building trust and credibility with you (our visitors) over anything else. Therefore, we don’t include (or exclude) anything on Share Cyprus based on financial decisions. We know this will hinder our reputation, success and growth.
Our approach is simple. If it’s good, we’ll share it with you; if not, we won’t!
That leads to a relevant question, how does Share Cyprus pay its bills? Here are a few examples of paying our bills without compromising our integrity.
When we share a brilliant hotel, we sometimes provide a booking link and are paid a small commission if a successful booking is made and completed via this link. Since we are 100% confident that every hotel we share is good or exceptional, we see nothing wrong with this. It doesn’t cost you any additional money, and the small commission received helps to run Share Cyprus.
In addition, we will also work with some of the smaller companies we discover and help them “explain” and promote their business. For example, we may be able to help by producing a video for our YouTube channel. In this scenario, we support a company, person or place that we already recommend without compromising the organic structure of our website.
At all times, the most important element of the Share Cyprus project is building and maintaining our reputation as a trusted source of information.
